Nikkō Tōshō-gū is a lavishly decorated Shinto shrine located in Nikkō, Japan, and is the resting place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is renowned for its ornate carvings, vibrant colors, and the famous "Sleeping Cat" and "Three Wise Monkeys" carvings.
